Arm Post Base for the Stretcher Drilling Guide

This tapered "Arm Post Base" will allow you to drill arm rest mortises in back posts from smaller diameter tapered mortise, such as those used for arm posts. These mortises are usually reamed after drilling a 1/2" hole. The 6 degree taper ranges from 13/16" down to a little under 9/16" at the small end. A 6-3/8" Threaded Rod is included. The Base incorporates 3" of adjustment. That will enable the rod end bearing to be adjusted from from 7-1/2" to to 11-1/2" from the surface of the seat.
This item includes the Arm Support Base, a 6-3/8" threaded rod, and 2 jam nuts.
Notes:
1. This item DOES NOT include the the rod end bearing or drill extension. This is an optional "tapered base" for the Stretcher Drilling Guide (sold separately), and is intended for use in smaller diameter tapered mortises.
