The Large Spindle Drilling Guide allows you to easily drill spindle mortises in chair bow and arms from 5/16" up to 5/8" in diameter. The "offset" design allows you to drill centered spindle mortises in arms up to 6" wide, and from 5" to 30" above the seat.
You can also use the Large Spindle Drilling Guide to drill blind spindle mortises from underneath, like for a crest rail and for other non-chairmaking operations; such as casework, stairs, etc.
