This 1/2" to 3/8" Bushing in made to be used in the 1/2" coupler provided with our drill extensions. The bushing allows you use to drill bits and accessories with a 3/8" round shank or a 5/16" hex shank. In order to secure your bits, the bushing has a hole machined in its side to correspond with set-screw in the 1/2" coupler.
